Genshin Impact May 2026 Calendar Wallpapers Lottery: Winners Revealed and My Firsthand Recap

I’ve been following Genshin Impact’s community events closely, and the May 2026 Calendar Wallpapers Lottery just wrapped up with the official results announcement on May 14, 2026. As a Traveler who loves collecting in-game art and participating in fan events, I was thrilled to see HoYoverse release another set of stunning monthly wallpapers and give players a chance to win Primogems. The event ran from April 30 to May 7, 2026 (UTC+8), and the response from the community was overwhelming. Here’s my full recap of what happened, how players could join, the rewards, and the gorgeous wallpapers that are now available for PC, mobile, and Apple Watch.

📅 Event Overview at a Glance

I always appreciate how HoYoverse keeps the community engaged with seasonal activities. This lottery was tied to the May calendar wallpapers, which featured birthday characters from the month. The event was held across multiple social platforms, making it easy for Travelers from different regions to participate. Here’s a quick summary of the key dates and details:

Item	Details
Event Duration	April 30, 2026 – May 7, 2026 23:59 (UTC+8)
Results Announced	May 14, 2026
Reward	Primogems ×160 (100 winners total)
Platforms	X (Twitter), Facebook, Instagram, Naver Cafe, Telegram, VK, Reddit
Delivery	Within 30 business days after results announcement

As someone who has participated in similar events before, I made sure to mark my calendar so I wouldn’t miss the submission window. The fact that the event spanned a full week gave plenty of time for Travelers to craft their entries and send well-wishes to the May birthday characters.

🎯 How to Participate: Platform-Specific Rules

I noticed that the participation methods varied slightly depending on the platform, which is typical for HoYoverse’s community events. Here’s a breakdown of what players had to do:

• On X (Twitter): Share the official event post with the hashtag #GenshinImpactCalendar and send well-wishes to the birthday characters in May. Winners would receive a private message from the official X account to fill in their UID. It was crucial to keep the account public and ensure private messages were enabled.

• On Facebook, Instagram, Naver Cafe, Telegram, VK, and Reddit: Like the event post, leave your Genshin Impact UID in the comments, and send well-wishes to the May birthday characters. Again, accounts needed to be set to public mode, and posts had to be public.

I personally chose to participate on X and Reddit because those are my most active platforms. I made sure my UID was correct and my account visibility was set to public – a small step that many Travelers might overlook, but it’s essential for prize eligibility. The official notes emphasized that failure to provide the correct UID within the time limit would result in forfeiture of the reward, so I double-checked everything before submitting.

💎 Rewards and Winner Announcement

The prize pool was straightforward but exciting: 160 Primogems for 100 lucky winners, randomly selected from all successful participants across every platform. I appreciate that HoYoverse doesn’t set aside separate prize quotas per platform – it’s a single global pool, which keeps things fair and simple. Winners were announced on May 14, 2026, and the list is available on the official site.

One thing I always remind fellow Travelers: if you win, you must respond to the official message with your UID promptly. The rules state that changing your X (Twitter) account information before the prize is sent could invalidate your eligibility, so it’s best to leave your profile untouched until the Primogems arrive. Also, rewards are delivered within 30 business days after the results announcement, so patience is key.

🖼️ The May 2026 Calendar Wallpapers: A Visual Treat

Beyond the lottery, the real stars of the event were the May 2026 calendar wallpapers. HoYoverse released a set of five gorgeous designs optimized for PC, mobile, and Apple Watch. I’ve already saved a couple for my own devices – they feature serene landscapes, iconic characters, and elegant calendar layouts that make them both functional and beautiful. Here are the wallpapers that were shared:

I love how HoYoverse consistently provides wallpapers in multiple aspect ratios. The Apple Watch version is a nice touch – it’s not every game that remembers wearable devices. The designs are vibrant and capture the spirit of spring, which fits perfectly with May’s birthday characters.

⚠️ Important Notes for Future Events

Based on my experience, here are a few key takeaways from the event rules that are worth remembering for future lotteries:

• Multiple submissions are allowed, but only one prize per Traveler. Prizes cannot be stacked, so there’s no need to spam entries.

• Winning submissions are selected across all platforms. If the same entry wins on multiple platforms, the prize is issued based on the platform where it was first posted.

• Plagiarism and unauthorized content are strictly prohibited. Always cite sources if you quote or use someone else’s work.

• Feedback and objections can be submitted through customer support after the winners list is announced. If a winning work violates the rules, the prize may be revoked, and the account could be permanently banned from future community events.

• By participating, you agree to have your UID published on the event platform for prize delivery purposes. Privacy is protected according to local laws.

I always read the notes carefully because they contain crucial details that can make or break a prize claim. For instance, the rule about changing your X account information before the prize is sent is easy to miss, but it could cost you your Primogems.

🎉 Final Thoughts

Overall, the May 2026 Calendar Wallpapers Lottery was another successful community event. It combined creativity, seasonal cheer, and a generous reward – 160 Primogems is nothing to sneeze at, especially for free-to-play Travelers like me. Even though I didn’t win this time, I’m happy to have participated and to have added the new wallpapers to my collection. The results announcement on May 14 brought closure, and I’m already looking forward to the next event. If you’re a fellow Traveler, I highly recommend keeping an eye on HoYoverse’s official social media channels – you never know when the next Primogem opportunity will pop up. And don’t forget to grab those wallpapers while they’re available! 🖼️✨
